CWSF 2026 will be hosted in Edmonton at the Edmonton EXPO Centre and the University of Alberta from May 23-30.

The Canada-Wide Science Fair (CWSF) is the pinnacle of youth STEM excellence in Canada. Hosted annually by Youth Science Canada, this extraordinary event brings together our nation’s brightest young minds, celebrating their passion for STEM and innovation. Witness the future of STEM through the eyes of our youth. From groundbreaking research to inventive solutions, each project at the CWSF is a window into the incredible potential of our young scientists. The fair is a vibrant display of elaborate presentations, engaging demonstrations, and thought-provoking discussions.

There are a variety of opportunities available including Door Greeters, Registration Support, Crowd Management, Prepping Materials, and much more! There is something for everyone!

Qualifications:

No qualifications required, although a positive attitude and excitement about youth STEM initiatives is essential!

Training:

All training will be provided at the beginning of your volunteer shift.

Benefits:

Whether you’re a scientist, engineer, educator, or simply a STEM aficionado, your skills can make a difference. Witness firsthand the creativity and innovation of Canada’s youth, and help them refine and present their ideas to the world.

Additionally, all shifts that overlap a meal time will have food provided and volunteers will receive a CWSF Volunteer shirt.
