Volunteer Opportunity:

The Antarctic Institute of Canada is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to support our mission as Researchers and Writers. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, learn about Antarctic science and related topics, and gain valuable experience in research and science communication.

Responsibilities:

Research and Information Gathering: Assist with literature reviews and gathering information from various sources related to Antarctic research and other institute initiatives.
Newspaper Article Support: Help in the creation of engaging content for newspapers and general audiences, potentially assisting with research, drafting, or editing articles.
Peer-Reviewed Journal Article Support: Provide assistance in the preparation of manuscripts for academic journals, which may include tasks such as formatting, proofreading, or basic research.
Journal Identification Assistance: Help identify potential journals for publication.
Book Contribution Support: Assist with research or other tasks related to book projects.
Collaboration: Work with researchers and team members on various writing and research tasks.
Communication and Outreach Support: Help prepare summaries of research or other content for the institute's website or other communication channels.
Administrative Support: Assist with organizing research materials and other administrative tasks as needed.
