Do you believe in the power of mentorship, movement, and meaningful connection? Girls on the Run Edmonton is looking for enthusiastic volunteer coaches to lead and support 3rd-5th grade girls this spring!
Girls on the Run (GOTR) is an empowering after-school program that inspires girls to recognize their inner strength, increase their level of physical activity, imagine their possibilities, and confidently stand up for themselves and others.
No prior coaching experience required - just your energy, positivity and heart.

Qualifications:
To become a coach, there are three requirements that need to be met:
Complete GOTR National Coach Training (NCT). This training consists of two parts: self-paced, online modules which take about 3 to 4 hours to complete, and an in-person coach training session (3 hours). All new coaches must complete both the online and in-person portions of training prior to coaching a team.
Complete an interview with Executive Director of GOTR Edmonton.
Complete a background check. We will provide paid vouchers to complete this check online.
Optional - Complete CPR and First Aid certification (if needed). A minimum of one coach per team must have CPR and First Aid certification on file by the first session of any given season and be present at every practice. We offer CPR/First Aid Training for coaches who need to be certified.
