We're looking for Make-A-Wish Ambassadors at Edmonton Fan Expo - working with the 501 Badlands (Star Wars group) - greeting guests, taking donations, leading guests to picture taking area, and providing general information about Make-A-Wish!

Details:
Event: Edmonton Expo Comics & Entertainment (Fan Expo)
Dates: Friday September 18th to Sunday September 20th, 2026 (exact shift times listed below)
Location: Edmonton Expo Centre (7515 118 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5B 0J2)

Other Notes:
- Dress Code and Items to bring: Make-A-Wish Volunteer t-shirt (or branded pinnie will be provided on shift), comfortable shoes (you will be on your feet), snacks and water
- Volunteers will receive free access to the full show on the day of their shift to explore before/after their volunteering
- Accessible by public transit, paid parking onsite (MAW cannot reimburse parking fees), wheelchair accessible venue

Qualifications:

- Volunteers must be 18+

Training:

Staff will provide general training on working with iPads and Square payment machines.

Benefits:

Volunteers will receive free access to the Expo to explore before/after their shift on their volunteer day.
