Harry Ainlay High School is recruiting university student volunteers to assist teachers in a variety of classroom settings that require specialised supports, such as

-English as an Additional Language
-Interactions
-Knowledge and Employability
-Community Learning Skills

Volunteers will work in class alongside teachers, in a supportive and supervised environment, supporting a variety of classroom activities. Volunteers will gain a range of educational experience, including hands-on experience working with high school students.

Qualifications:

None, however we would most like to welcome in students interested in a career in teaching or working with students with specialised learning needs.

Training:

Volunteers will work in a supervised environment with certified teachers and educational assistants. Volunteers will be supported directly at all times.

Benefits:

Volunteers will gain a range of educational experience, including hands-on experience working with high school students.
