Description:

Drive Happiness Volunteer Drivers help older adults maintain their independence by providing safe, reliable transportation to medical appointments, grocery stores, social activities, and other essential destinations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide safe and courteous transportation for clients using your personal vehicle.
Assist clients with entering and exiting the vehicle when needed.
Help transport mobility aids such as walkers or foldable wheelchairs.
Ensure clients arrive at their destinations on time.
Create a welcoming and positive experience through friendly conversation and companionship.
Follow Drive Happiness policies and safety procedures.
Report ride information accurately following each trip.


Qualifications:

Qualifications

Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
Current vehicle insurance and registration.
Clean driving record.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassion, patience, and respect for older adults.
Ability to pass required screening and background checks.


Training:

Valid Class 5 Driver
