We’re excited to announce that the 5K Foam Fest is coming back to Leduc in 2026! This festival is full of foamy fun, obstacle courses, music, food vendors etc. and Make-A-Wish is the chosen charity partner! We would love to have your help to make the day an amazing success.

EVENT DETAILS
Location: Leduc Recreation Centre (4330 Black Gold Dr, Leduc, AB T9E 3C3)
Date: Saturday, June 20th, 2026
Time: Event runs from 7:00am-4:30pm – AM/PM/Full day volunteer shifts available

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Gear Check Roles
• Morning: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Afternoon: 11:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Full Day: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Duties include welcoming participants, managing bag check (including collecting a minimum $5 donation per bag to MAW), tagging and organizing items, and ensuring smooth pick-up.
Please note: roles may shift based on event needs – we appreciate your flexibility!

OTHER INFORMATION
- Dress code: you will receive a 5K Foam Fest T-shirt, wear comfortable clothing you don’t mind getting dirty, comfortable closed toed shoes – dress for the weather, you will be stationed outdoors
- Parking available onsite (volunteers can park for free)
- To bring: hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, water, any extra snacks/lunch
- Must be comfortable standing/being on your feet for the whole shift

Volunteering at the Electrolit 5K Foam Fest is rewarding! Here's what you'll receive:

A Free Run!

Morning Shift: 1 free ticket to a future event or 1 free run with the last wave of runners upon completion of your shift with approval from the Event Supervisor.

Afternoon Shift: 1 free ticket to a future event.

Full Day Shift: 2 free tickets to a future event.

Parking Pass: Park at the event venue for free.

Electrolit 5K Foam Fest snack pack: While snacks will be provided during your shift, we recommend bringing a packed lunch to keep you fueled throughout the day. There’s lots of water available to refill your water bottle.
