Your Campus Connection
Description:
Whyte Avenue Art Walk is a visual extravaganza with 460+ artists that takes place July 1-12, 2026. We line the Avenue, and fill parks and street closures in the heart of Old Strathcona.
We host a volunteer orientation with a presentation, snacks, and an opportunity to decorate/personalize you Art Walk collateral. For 2026 the orientation is on July 2, at 6 pm, at Artelier Studios: 10045 81 Ave.
Volunteering at Whyte Avenue Art Walk allows you engage with both the public and artists, and you will see a LOT of art and artists creating.
For artists who think they might participate in the future, it's an opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at the festival, talk to other artists, and see how they set up their displays. Art Walk is also for students seeking to meet community service hours. Whatever your motivation, it’s a fun, vibrant festival that brings Old Strathcona to life!
