Description:

K to Infinity is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to addressing Canada’s growing mathematical literacy gap. Our mission is to build strong foundational and advanced math skills while fostering teamwork, confidence, and social connection.

We work with students in Grades 1–10, providing structured, engaging, and high-quality math enrichment. Our program integrates video instruction, gamified learning, collaborative team activities, and AI-supported assessments.

All instructional materials—including videos, worksheets, lesson plans, and games—are fully developed and provided to volunteers.


Qualifications:

Volunteer Roles: Tutoring, Social Media, Sponsor Relations
Time Commitment:

Fridays: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM

Sundays: 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM

Summer Camp: Dates TBA


Training:

Volunteer Roles
1. Math Tutor (Primary Role)

Support small groups of students during structured 90-minute sessions

Facilitate team-based math games and worksheet activities

Encourage peer teaching and collaborative problem-solving

No lesson planning required. Training and materials are provided.

2. Social Media Support

Assist with content creation and scheduling

Highlight student achievements and program milestones

Help grow community engagement and outreach

Ideal for students interested in marketing, communications, or digital media.

3. Sponsor & Community Relations

Assist with outreach to local businesses and organizations

Help coordinate sponsor recognition and engagement

Support community partnership initiatives

Ideal for students interested in business, finance, or nonprofit development.

Prior tutoring experience is helpful but not required. Reliability, enthusiasm, and a willingness to mentor are most important.
