About Us
Since 1994, Turning Points Counselling Services (Parkland Turning Points Society) has walked alongside adults impacted by intimate partner and family violence across the Tri-Region. We believe healing is possible when people are met with dignity, safety, and compassionate care, regardless of their ability to pay. All of our counselling and groups are free and trauma-informed.
The Opportunity
Join a small, mission-driven team and offer brief, one-to-one therapy that helps someone feel safe, seen, and hopeful again. You’ll create calm in the storm, doing focused intake, goal-based sessions, safety planning, and thoughtful referrals, while documenting care in Jane (our EMR) using simple, supportive templates. You bring your heart, ethics, and steady presence; we provide a welcoming place to practice and a community that’s grateful you’re here.
