Devxchange International Programs is a registered Canadian charity that connects Canadian volunteers with international development projects worldwide, focusing on five main sectors: water, education, income generation, healthcare, and agriculture. DevXchange is a “development exchange for change,” taking an innovative approach to international humanitarianism.

About This Opportunity: Join our team as a volunteer in web design, graphic design, social media, marketing, and grant writing for one of our international development partners - Advocate Plus. This role offers a unique chance to enhance your technical skills by building and modifying an existing website, creating marketing materials, and assisting with grant proposals. You will also develop leadership, communication, time management, and collaboration skills as a member of the DevXchange team. Familiarity with social media platforms is essential, as you will collaborate with the team to create an annual calendar of events and social media postings.

Projects May Involve:
•Providing feedback on web design
•Website improvements and information updates
•Graphic design and creation of marketing content
•Creating and scheduling social media posts
•Assisting with writing and editing grant proposals

Qualifications:

•Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•Good time management skills
•Ability to adapt and prioritize
•Proficiency in programming using WordPress or the ability to learn quickly
•Basic understanding of grant writing or willingness to learn

Training:

In-house training and/or orientation will be provided on using our tools/templates.
