The Master Composter Recycler Program is a learn and serve program that trains applicants to become community leaders in waste reduction. By taking the training, you are making a commitment to teaching friends, neighbours and coworkers to reduce, reuse, recycle and compost. In exchange for the 35 hours of training, you will volunteer for 25 hours in a wide variety of different roles, projects and opportunities.

Qualifications:
Applicants will be screened.
Here are some things that we look for in applicants:
- Passionate about waste reduction and sustainability
- Motivated to teach others to reduce waste
- Able to make and maintain community connections
- Reliable and takes initiative
Training:
- Complete 35 hours of free, in person training. There are 9 sessions over March, April & May.
- Learn about recycling, composting and waste reduction in Edmonton
