This program is for children grades 1-6 who struggle with their literacy skills due to challenges with language, phonological awareness, and/or cognitive processing skills.

Our program runs on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4-5:30pm out of our clinic space.

We are looking for support on either or both days for the term of the group (12 weeks) starting on January 26, 2026.

The Social Space is an interest-based group for children looking to develop social-emotional, communication, and friendship skills.

A supportive, fun, neurodiversity-affirming space where your child can learn and practice skills while participating in a variety of activities related to their interests.

Programming designed and led by an Occupational Therapist & Speech-Language Pathologist

Goals of the program include:
a)Building self-awareness related to emotional regulation & feelings

b)Developing social perspective-taking skills

c)Building self-advocacy skills

d)Navigating problem solving with peers
