Candidates for President
PRESIDENT
The President directs, advises and is advised by the General Manager. The President chairs the Executive Committee, provides direct support to the Vice Presidents, and helps them find consensus on challenging questions. The President is the primary spokesperson of the UASU to students, the University, all levels of government, and the community, responsibilities that are frequently shared with Vice Presidents and the Marketing and Communications department. The President sits on the Board of Governors, the Academic Planning Committee, and other high-level University governance bodies.
