I am Asha, and I am running for the nursing GFC position. I am running to advocate for three main causes - nursing perspective, nursing community, and accessibility in nursing. Based on student consultations, I will advocate on behalf of nursing students to vote for policies that favor nursing students. I will advocate to create a more lively and supportive nursing community. I will also advocate for more Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) initiatives. One of the actionable steps I will take includes sharing nursing perspectives on academic policies and tuition fees policies and voting in favor of nursing students.
