Undergraduate Board of Governors Representative
Stephen Raitz (he/him) has a background in Urban Planning and is attending school to become a lawyer because he is passionate about explaining complicated matters to everyday people and helping resolve problems they face. Stephen has worked with others on campus to run improv festivals, karaoke nights, and student conferences. He's collaboratively developed advocacy campaigns pushing for a safer, more liveable city and an improved academic experience.
While the Board of Governors Rep is the most unsexy student governance position of all time, Stephen hopes to utilize the narrow, but important, opportunities to advocate for long-term positive change on campus.
The Board of Governors (BoG) is the ultimate governing and decision making body on campus. Among many other things, it determines tuition fees, manages University property and finances, and is responsible for the overall strategic direction of the University. The Board of Governors' Representative for the 2023-24 academic year is Stephen Raitz.
The Undergraduate Board of Governors Representative is elected directly by students to serve as a voice for the undergraduate body. They hold one of the 21 voting seats on the board, along with the University President and the Chancellor, the UASU and GSA Presidents, academic and non-academic staff representatives, alumni representatives and members of the public appointed by the provincial government. The BoG Rep is also a voting member of Students' Council and General Faculties Council (GFC).

Board Governance Committee
The Board Governance Committee was established by the Board of Governors on October 12, 2018 and assists the Board of Governors in fulfilling its governance responsibilities by providing strategic oversight, insight, and foresight with respect to the effectiveness, impact, organization, and procedures of the Board of Governors, to enhance board governance performance.
Board Reputation and Public Affairs Committee
The Board Reputation and Public Affairs Committee assists the Board of Governors in fulfilling its governance responsibilities by providing strategic oversight, insight, and foresight with respect to University reputation, identity, strategic communication, community engagement, philanthropy and advancement.

Le Conseil des gouverneurs (CG) est l'organe de direction et de décision suprême sur le campus. Parmi de nombreuses autres choses, il détermine les frais de scolarité, gère les biens et les finances de l'Université, et est responsable de l'orientation stratégique globale de l'Université. Le représentant du Conseil des gouverneurs pour l'année universitaire 2023-24 est Stephen Raitz.
Le représentant du Conseil des gouverneurs de premier cycle est élu directement par les étudiants pour servir de voix au corps de premier cycle. Il occupe l'un des 21 sièges avec droit de vote du conseil, aux côtés du président de l'université et du chancelier, des présidents des SU et des GSA, des représentants du personnel académique et non académique, des représentants des anciens étudiants et des membres du public nommés par le gouvernement provincial. Le représentant du CS est également un membre votant du conseil des étudiants et du conseil général des facultés (CGF).

Comité de gouvernance du Conseil
Le Comité de gouvernance du Conseil a été créé par le Conseil des gouverneurs le 12 octobre 2018 et aide le Conseil des gouverneurs à s'acquitter de ses responsabilités de gouvernance en fournissant une surveillance stratégique, un aperçu et une prospective en ce qui concerne l'efficacité, l'impact, l'organisation et les procédures du Conseil des gouverneurs, afin d'améliorer la performance de la gouvernance du Conseil.
Comité de la réputation et des affaires publiques du Conseil d'administration
Le comité de la réputation et des affaires publiques du conseil d'administration aide ce dernier à s'acquitter de ses responsabilités en matière de gouvernance en fournissant une surveillance stratégique, des informations et des prévisions concernant la réputation, l'identité, la communication stratégique, l'engagement communautaire, la philanthropie et l'avancement de l'université.
