Student Term Positions
A wide range of areas at the Students' Union hire students or recent grads for a one year term and they are responsible for the management and operations of areas such as InfoLink, Student Events, Student Groups, Sustainability, Orientation, Safewalk, Student Development and Involvement. The term for most of the positions is May - April, however exceptions do apply.

Student Positions
To apply for the following positions, you must be a student at the U of A, registered in at least 1 course in both the fall and winter semester you are employed for.
Student Events Coordinator is an entry level position, working in a team environment responsible for enhancing student life and creating campus community through a variety of programming initiatives. The SEC will primarily focus on the logistical aspects of Students’ Union events.
Student Promotional Coordinator is an entry level position, working in a team environment responsible for enhancing student life and creating campus community through a variety of programming initiatives. The SPC will primarily focus on promotional and recruitment aspects of Students’ Union events.
Student Development Coordinator contributes to the operations of all leadership services and recognition programming through the Students' Union services.The person in this role will largely focus on leadership and recognition events including the Alberta Student Leadership Summit and the Emerging Leaders Program.
Peer Support Centre Coordinator contributes to the operations and organization of the PSC. They work closely in overseeing the organization and operations of the Peer Support Centre. The position is responsible for volunteer recruitment, interviews, appreciation, training, and evaluation, as well as PSC-wide resource management, statistics, and assessment.
Sustain SU Coordinator is primarily responsible for Sustain SU volunteer management and supporting the bike library. They support events and initiatives to advance sustainability on campus.
InfoLink Senior Peer Advisor focus is to provide quality customer service to the campus community. InfoLink currently has three partner locations: Student Life Central, InfoLink ONEcard Service Centre, International Services Centre Desk
Safewalk Coordinator oversees the Safewalk program throughout the year. They recruit, train and manage volunteers and manage the operations of the service.

Full Time Positions
The following positions are full time, working 37.5 hours per week. These positions are looking for either a recent grad from the U of A or a student in their final year of school with a light course load.
Assistant Program Lead - Student Group Services is responsible for student group resource development and maintenance, along with student group registration. They will also be responsible for administration of student group granting programs and support of the student group office space in the Students' Union Building.
Assistant Program Lead - InfoLink assists with the service delivery of the Student Life Central, InfoLink ONEcard Service Centre, and International Services Centre Desk InfoLink locations. They are responsible for scheduling and supporting the student staff working at those locations.
FNMI Initiatives Specialist will lead community consultation for a new leadership development program for FNMI students, and the planning and delivery of this program. Additionally, the Specialist will work with other Students’ Union programs to implement recommendations from Students’ Council’s Aboriginal Relations and Reconciliation Committee (ARRC) and to promote greater organizational understanding of reconciliation.
